يدعو المجلس الثقافي البريطاني الشباب اليمنيين من الهواة
وشبه المحترفين والمبدعيين في مجال صناعة الافلام والذين يملكون الموهبة والشغف والعزم والرؤية الجديدة لصناعة وتقديم أفلام قصيرة ذات فكرة ومضمون جديد وأصلي مستوحاة من أحد الموضوعات التالية:
- التغيير المناخي
- المستقبل
- السلام والاستقرار
- اليمن
وسيتم اختيار حتى 10 فائزين ممن يحالفهم الحظ للمشاركة بدورات في كتابة السيناريو، والتصوير السينمائي، والاخراج والمونتاج وذلك في صنعاء على أيدي محترفين من المملكة المتحدة من مؤسسة انسايت التعليمية للأفلام.
بعد ذلك سيتنافس هؤلاء الفائزين مرة أخرى خلال وبعد التدريب وذلك عن طريق تقديم فيلم آخر قد تصل مدته من 10 الى 20 دقيقة وذلك لنيل فرصة عرض الفيلم الفائز في اليمن على قناة تلفزيونية في اليمن وأيضاً فرصة عرضه في المملكة المتحدة العام القادم.
كماسيحظى الفائز في الجزء الثاني من المسابقة بفرصة حضور أحد مهرجانات الأفلام القصيرة في المملكة المتحدة العام المقبل.
للاشتراك
على المشتركين تحميل فيلم لا تزيد مدته عن 5 دقائق، شاملاً المقدمة والنهاية على موقع يوتيوب (YouTube) وارسال رابط الفيلم بالاضافة الى أية تصاريح خاصة بالفيلم واستمارة الاشتراك والتي بالامكان الحصول عليها من موقع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني على الرابط التالي: http://www.britishcouncil.org/me-yemen-zoom-competition.htm الى: zoom@ye.britishcouncil.org
ملاحظة
* يمكن ان تكون الافلام المشاركة في المسابقة من فئة أفلام الرسوم المتحركة أوالأفلام الروائية أوالتجريبية أو أي نوع فني آخر.
** يمكنك استخدام أي نوع من كاميرات الفيديو، بما في ذلك كاميرات الهاتف المحمول أو أبسط أنواع كاميرات الفيديو لتصوير الفيلم الخاص بك.
التحكيم
سيتم تقييم الأفلام المشاركة من قبل نخبة من صنّاع الأفلام في اليمن والمملكة المتحدة، منهم المخرجة اليمنية خديجة السلامي والمنتج والمخرج البريطاني ديفيد الاموتي.
سيتم تحكيم الأفلام وفقاً للمعايير التالية:
- الأصالة / الابداع
- الوضوح
- قوة السرد للقصة
- الموهبة في مجال صناعة الأفلام (مثلاً الاستخدام المناسب للكاميرا سواءً ثابته أو متحركة، واستخدام الزوم، والتركيز والموسيقى التصويرية والاطار العام)
آخر موعد للمشاركة وتحميل الأفلام هو 10 نوفمبر 2010. ولن يتم قبول أي مشاركات يتم تقديمها بعد هذا التاريخ.
على المشتركين ضمان أن جميع التراخيص والأذون لتصوير المواقع والأشخاص قد تم الحصول عليها. ولا يتحمل المجلس الثقافي البريطاني أية مسؤولية عن أية مخالفات للقوانين أو لوائح في هذا الصدد. يجب على المشتركين مراعاة عدم مخالفة أية حقوق سواءً كانت حقوق الخصوصية ، أوحقوق التأليف والنشر أو حقوق الملكية الفكرية أو أية حقوق أخرى من أي شخص.

The British Council is calling on amateur and semi professional filmmakers with talent, determination, original vision and passion.
Filmmakers and/or creative people are invited to make original short films inspired by one of the competition’s themes:
- Climate change
- The Future
- Peace and Stability
- Yemen
Up to ten (10) lucky winners will go on to take filmmaking trainings in Sana’a in scriptwriting, cinematography, editing and directing. The filmmaking trainings will be run by professional filmmakers from UK from Insight Education.
The winners will again compete between and after the training by submitting a 15 – 20 minutes film for the chance to have the grand winner’s film screened in Yemen through a Yemeni television station and in the UK as well.
The grand winner of the competition will also win the chance to attend one the UK’s film festivals next year.
Submission
Entrants must submit a 5 minute film including credits by uploading it onto YouTube and sending the URL of the uploaded video and all necessary release forms and the competition’s submission form downloadable from http://www.britishcouncil.org/me-yemen-zoom-competition.htm to: zoom@ye.britishcouncil.org
You can use any camera to shoot your film, including a mobile camera
Films may be of any genre, including animation.
Judging Panel
Films will be judged by a panel of expert filmmakers from Yemen and the UK including Yemeni Director Khadija Al Salami and UK filmmaker and producer David Alamouti.
The Films will be judged according to the following criteria:
1- Originality / Creativity;
2- Clarity;
3- Strength of narrative (telling a story)
4- Evidence of filmmaking ability (e.g. appropriate use of fixed/moving camera, zoom, depth of focus, soundtrack and framing)
Entrants must ensure that permission to film has been sought for all participants and locations. The British Council takes no responsibility for infractions of laws or regulations in this regard. Entrants must not infringe on the privacy rights, copyright or other rights of any person.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS 10 November 2010. Submissions uploaded after this date will not be judged.
