On Monday 18 August world leaders have 500 days to fulfill their promise to get every child into school no matter who they are or where they are born.

On this crucial date we are launching A World At School's #EducationCountdown to ensure urgent action is taken over the next 500 days so that by the end of 2015 no child is excluded from school. Together we can create an unstoppable movement and demand that world leaders priorities #education and make this promise to children a reality.

The #EducationCountdown Campaign brings together NGOs, civil society, teachers, youth, faith-based organizations, and the business community in a global movement to marshal the political will and financing needed to achieve Millennium Development Goal 2 of universal education. The campaign addresses key barriers to learning for all children and delivers results against collective milestones and targets.
