The Expression Non-Profit Website Fund for NGOs

11/06/2014 - The Expression Web Solutions invites non-government organizations and non-profit community to submit applications for the Expression Non-Profit Website Fund.
The Expression is a web development company specialized in web design, web development, apps, e-commerce, social media and other web-related services.
The Expression provides either a website or the web solution up to maximum US$15,000 to select NGOs who meet the eligibility criteria. The services provided include web development, app development, mobile, social media, database development, CMS, CRM e-commerce and more.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants’ organization must be registered as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization in their country.
  • An organization can submit only one application.
  • Past winners are not eligible to apply.
  • To be considered, the applicants must fill the online application form, like & follow the Expression on facebook & twitter.

The Journalists and Writers Foundation Awards Grants for NGO Projects promoting Peacebuilding

The Journalists and Writers Foundation (JWF) invites grant applications for NGO projects promoting peaceful coexistence through dialogue and reconciliation; fostering pluralism, good governance, freedom of belief; advancing social and economic development and environmental responsibility; upholding respect for human rights, and gender equality and empowerment and other broad range of disciplines.
The JWF is a non-governmental organization that promotes peaceful coexistence through dialogue and understanding at global, regional and local levels.
Grant Awards
  1. Project Grants of maximum US$50,000 to implement the project.
  2. Best Implementation Cash Awards:
    • US$30,000 – First Place Award
    • US$20,000 – Second Place Award
    • US$10,000 – Third Place Award
Project Topics (may be but not limited to)
  1. Inter-communal and inter-state dialogue/cooperation
  2. Peace education
  3. Pluralism and multiculturalism
  4. Youth, conflict and peacebuilding
  5. Early warning and conflict prevention
  6. Mediation and negotiation
  7. Post-conflict reconciliation
  8. Disarmament, demobilization and reintegration
  9. Good governance, rule of law and transitional justice
  10. Poverty, development and peacebuilding
  11. Gender and peacebuilding
  12. Religion and peacebuilding
  13. Role of media in conflict and peacebuilding
  14. Social-psychological impacts of violent conflict and trauma healing
  15. Development and peacebuilding
  16. Social media and peacebuilding
Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be not-for-profit organization anywhere in the world.
  • At least one member of the applicant team must be more than 18 years of age.
  • Proposals can’t be made for supporting or advancing already existing projects. However applications can be made for upgrading projects to new stage, or to use the previous implementations as a model in different areas.

لماذا لم نعد نحس بأي طعم للحياة ؟!




لماذا لم نعد نحس بأي طعم للحياة ؟!
يا ترى أين الخلل ؟! أفي بطون لم تشبع ولن تشبع ؟ أم في ضمائر ماتت ؟ أم في قلوب تحولت إلى أحجار ؟.
تركنا الدين الإسلامي إلا في وقت محدود مثل موسم صيام رمضان وأيام الحج وعيدهما وأيام الجُمع فقط ، بل تركنا كل ما قد يرد لنا الإحساس والمبادئ والقيم فيما بيننا .
لا نفكر إلا في المادة وكيف نحصل عليها ... وأصبحنا نعيش من أجل أنفسنا لا غيرنا ولو أعطينا أنفسنا فرصة للتأمل وكيف أصبحنا من بعد وقارنا كيف كان يجب علينا أن نكون لكرهنا أنفسنا وفكرنا في الانتحار ..
نمشي في الظلام لا ندري من أين بدأنا وإلى أين سننتهي ؟
صرنا وللأسف الشديد نخاف من كل شيء إلا من الله سبحانه " نستغفر الله " ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله فنسينا قدرته وعظمته وجبروته وعذابه الأليم يوم القيامة وحلمه ورأفته بنا .
أصبحنا نعيش بلا هدف بلا غاية بلا معنى .... يا لها من حالة مؤسفة لم نعد نحس أي طعم للحياة ... فلماذا ؟؟!
وكيف فقدنا طعم الحياة ؟.... فأننا في نهاية المطاف بحاجة إلى تفكير طويل وتأمل مستمر وحساب عسير .

القيادة فن و موهبة و فكر



 ليست لدينا وصفة سحرية للقيادة , إنها فن  و صنعة و براعة و موهبة _ كما تقول (( دايان تريسي )) , بعض الناس يولدون قادة , و بعضهم الآخر يتعلمون القيادة , و هناك فئة من الناس لا يمكن أن يملكوا زمامها , , وهناك أناس لا يستطيعون حتى مجرد التفكير في أن يصبحوا يوما ما قادة .
فالقيادة هي (( عملية تحريك مجموعة من الناس باتجاه محدد و مخطط وذلك بحثهم على العمل باختيارهم )) . و القيادة الناجحة تحرك الناس في الاتجاه الذي يحقق مصالحهم على المدى البعيد , ومهما كان الأمر , فإن الوسائل و الغايات يجب أن تقوم لخدمة المصالح الكبرى للناس المعنيين واقعاً على المستوى البعيد .
و القيادة أيضا منهج و مهارة , و عمل , يهدف إلى التأثير في الآخرين و الشخص القيادي هو ذلك الشخص الذي يحتل مرتبة معينة في المجموعة , و يُتوقع منه تأدية عمله بأسلوب يتناسق مع تلك المرتبة , و القائد هو الذي يُنتظر منه ممارسة التأثير في تحديد أهداف المنظمة أو المؤسسة و بلورتها و تحقيقها . و القائد الأمين هو الذي يتقدم الصفوف , و ليس الشخص الذي يناور ليتصدر الناس .
و لعل من أبرز صفات القائد الفعال هي سمة التفكير فالقائد المفكر يمتاز بـ :
*    الاتجاه إلى الخلوة بين فرقته و أخرى للتفكر و النظر و التصور
*    الاهتمام بتجميع و تحليل و توظيف  المعلومات لخدمة التفكير .
*    الوضوح التام للرؤية و الرسالة للمؤسسة أو المنظمة التي يقودها
*    الإبداع والابتكار و  الطموح إلى كبريات الأمور .
*    الثقافة العالية المتجددة المتنوعة التي تشحذ العقل و الفكر .
*    امتلاك العقلية و الشمولية الكلية التي تنظر إلى الأمور من كافة الزوايا .
*    النظرة العميقة ذات البعد الاستراتيجي طويل الأجل .
*    النظر إلى المستقبل و تحدياته و محاولة التنبؤ به والاستعداد له .
*    الارتكاز إلى المبادئ و القيم السامية في العمل و العلاقات و اتخاذ المواقف .
